Small businesses invest not in search engine marketing

Microsoft has recently put out an interesting on small business ideas and willingness to use search engine marketing and PPC.

Although the report may be called hardly representative of small business (400 sample size), it clean the current on is why small businesses not SEM. use

"The study found that 59 percent of small businesses with sites not currently using search engine marketing, and never even 90 percent have tried those."

"Among the participants top priorities, the common misunderstandings quoted cost, time and complexity as major hurdles to the implementation of search engine marketing campaigns for their businesses."
