The page to extend plugin on WordPress.org features the most popular, highly rated, newly developed to date and new plugins.
But one thing missing is rising star - plugins are not yet quite so popular but quickly become so based on ratings and current downloads.
Because extending the most popular list on WordPress page has not changed since 2008, and because of the way in which it is created, it is not likely to do so, I decided to create Rising list stars for WordPress plugins give space to these new plugins.
